The Windmill is a stunning 15thCentury ale house boasting three original fireplaces that you can read a book by on a cold winter’s day. Every care has been taken to preserve original features while keeping the décor to a very high standard. You step though our doors and feel you have stepped back through time.

We are a multi award winning pub. In 2022 we were a winner at the Great British pub awards, winner of best divisional pub for Stonegate, and a finalist of the Best Pub for Ale. We are past winner of Camra’s Pub of the Year as well as being Cask Marque approved for over a decade.
A visit to the Old Windmill is an experience. You can take a tour around the pub with one of our passionate staff where you can guess where the priest hole is while sampling classic ales, stunning wine from our collection, or choose from over thirty-five gins to complete the experience. The heart of the Windmill is cask ale, with seven hand pulls, we offer four permanent and three guest beers.
We have achieved a great reputation for our famous pork pies and cheeseboards that are all locally sourced. Our excellent cheeses are matured all the way from the caves of Somerset to the mountains of Snowdonia.
Beer festivals are held Spring, Summer and Winter. And live music is our joy with new, up and coming and local artists every Friday evening. We are keeping traditions alive with our Sunday folk group, displays from the local Morris men and Coventry Mummers: ordinary members of the community playing instruments, acting, singing and dancing. Stroll out back you will find our pop-up beer garden open evenings and weekends, furnished with wood tables, chairs, beautiful umbrellas and bay trees.
